Present perfect/past simple; I am to/I am supposed to

    Hi,

please can you advise on the following? Which is correct/better?

I have sent you a letter. Did you receive it?
    or
I have sent you a letter. Have you received it?
    Or both?

How much am I supposed to pay?
    or
How much am I to pay?
    Or both?

    Thank you.

I would say both are ok but "Have you" is possibly slightly better.

    Both are fine.

    Thank you.
