Names and commas

Usually(,) when I use names, I try to use commas as well.

Let's imagine I'm discussing with a friend called Tom.
Nice to see you, Tom.
Tom, please listen to me!
I fully agree with you, Tom.
Tom, do you think this could work?
(I think that's enough and should show the topic.)

In my opinion all commas are fine.
What do you think, guys?

Yes, they are fine. Indeed more than fine, I think they are mandatory here.
Geraldine Woods says (English Grammar for Dummies):
"When writing a message to someone, you need to separate the person's name form the rest of the sentence with a comma. Otherwise, your reader may misread the intention of the message."
She gives the example:
"Lochness wants to kill Wendy. I locked him in this room," which may have two different interpretations depending on whether you put a comma after 'kill' or not.
