    Subjuctive mood

    Please,

I have a doubt about this sentence. Can someone help me? Thank you.

Frank is always having problems with his wife. He thinks or he hopes he had never married her. Which one is the correct one? I am in trouble. Help please.

Neither is correct. "He wishes he had not married her" would be correct.

    I'm not a teacher.

Thanks, the thing is that this option is not here this is why I am in trouble. The best one would be he wishes but unfortunately I only have think, hopes and regrets.

"regrets" is used in a sentence like 'He regrets marrying her.'
