    exchanges ?

    Hello Everyone,

    What is the differences between exchanges and communications?

    And in the following sentence, which sentence, do you think, is the best?

    The two countries have experienced increasing exchanges in many areas in recent years, including the frequent exchanges in cultural, educational and public health fields.

    Regards

    Communication is the act of communicating with people. It is a Two-Way Process where one party/person gets a response from another party/person in exchange of specific things such as some massage, information, or talk. So;
    Communication= Exchange of talk/massage/information
    A short conversation or argument= a brief exchange
    There was a brief exchange between the two leaders.
    Exchange is also a Two-Way Process where you give something (not any specific) to someone and they give you something else
    They were given food and shelter in exchange for work.
    Several people were killed during the exchange of gunfire.
    This term has wide applications covering the entire field of human activity, be it from national to international or finance/banking to simple human labor. We all are acquainted with such terms as: stock exchange, foreign exchange, telephone exchange, rate of exchange etc.

    Your sentence is ok with exchange, but say: increased exchanges
