    possessive of

    Can one say:

1-I am talking about the apartment of me and Jane.
2-I am talking about the apartment of me and her.

    instead of:
a-I am talking about my and Jane's apartment.
b-I am talking about my and her apartment.

    (The apartment we own jointly.)

In practice all these constructions are quite awkward. To avoid this I would suggest writing:
"I am talking about the apartment that Jane and I share."
    or, as you suggest,
"I am talking about the apartment that Jane and I own jointly."

If you must use the pronoun, normally "my" would come after "Jane."
