Hi there: could you help me explain the use of the time adv in the following sentence:
"I can't remember anything that happened before two weeks ago"
my question is why "before" and "ago" are put together? can we just say "before two weeks" or "two weeks ago" instead? what's the meaning of "before two weeks ago"?
thank you

Suppose that today is the 14th of the month, two weeks ago today was the first of the month , you can remember everything from the 1st up to now. However, you can't remember anything that happened the previous month.
