    Could you tell us the context in which you read or heard this?
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    It's a contraction of "(Please) excuse (my) fingers" it is sometimes used in BrE when someone gives you something to eat using their fingers, rather than offering it from a plate etc.
