    Them heavy people hit me in a soft spot.
    How do you insert them smileys?

    Are these correct grammatically? I hear and see them all the time. Are they informal only? I think I didn't ever notice it in American English, is it used in America?

    No, they are not correct grammatically, they are poor English. It should be "those" or "these" in both cases.
