    Unhappy Plz help me to correct my sentence

    Hey! I want to write this sentence as status but I don't know if it's correct or not ! I'm not sure about that !
    2009 a year to remember, though there are many moments I'd better not to recall ! But it remains a good year to remember, whatever the ending was !
    is it right or there is something wrong ?!
    please help me

    Your first sentence doesn't have a main verb.

    2009 was a year to remember, even though there were some moments I'd prefer to forget.

    In English, don't leave a space after the word before the punctuation mark.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
