    1. Each verb has a subject. What is the subject of 'have' in your sentence? Is that subject singular or plural? Should the verb and the subject agree in number?

    I think you would have to say:

    Men have better track-records than women in their respective professions.

    As you are using a comparative, the adjective 'good' becomes 'better'.

    Check your spelling of "their."
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
