whether it s pronounced like "no" or "nu" or something else..

According to Longman Pronunciation Dictionary, you should ignore the sound of "k", just pronounce it same as "new". Of course, there is pronounciation different between American Eng [FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]nuː [/FONT][/FONT]and British Eng [FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]njuː[/FONT][/FONT]

knew [FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]njuː [FONT=&quot] ǁ nuː [FONT=&quot]njuː [/FONT] (= new) [/FONT][/FONT]
