Is the preposition FOR correctly used?

    Hi!

Would you be so kind and tell me if the following sentence is correct?

I am being waited for by John.

Is the preposition for correctly used?

Thank you very much in advance.

Re: Is the preposition FOR correctly used?

We would never use the passive in that sentence. "John is waiting FOR me" is correct, however.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
