Interested in Language
As you already know, advice is an uncountable word.
This means it's wrong to say:
I have an advice for you.
We also only use this when it's a singular word.
This song is great.
This songs are great. -> it has to be these or those
Now the main question: Does this mean it's also wrong to say:
Thank you for this advice!
I know I just could write:
Thank you for your advice!
Thank you for the advice!
However, I would like to know if it's possible with this.
Better said: If this can generally be used with uncountable words.
