    Present simple or Future

    Hi everybody

    Which sentence is correct:
    1.When keypad window appears type your message.
    2. When keypad window will appear type your message.

    The correct version is #1: When keypad window appears type your message.

    You should also write "When the keypad.." if you're writing this out in normal running text, although sometimes articles are left out when you're giving written instructions.

    Thanks for your help. I know articles are my big problem.
