    hello everybody,

which situation should i use "toward " or "to" ???
    what different are these ?

if the sentence is "Her parents were cold as charity towards her boyfriend." , can i take "to" place of "toward" ?

In this case, you could replace 'towards' with 'to'.
"As cold as charity" sounds strange. I think of charity as being warm.

Generally the difference between 'towards' and 'to' follow the definitions in a good dictionary. (Especially look up 'towards' which has a component of direction that 'to' does not always have)
Sometimes either form can be used.
