    The Twelve Days of Christmas

In the Program AFHV (Home videos) the announcer Tom said:

    "Next time you're
having a hard time Christmas shopping,
think about the person in "The Twelve
Days of Christmas." You try looking
    for "Eleven pipers piping." Now
    granted, "Eight maids a-milking" might
be fun, but that's about it. "

I know The The 12 days of christmas is a christmas carol, and I know the verses. Still I can't get what he means here?

    Thanks a lot.

Re: The Twelve Days of Christmas

The items mentioned are all quite impossible, and are being used as examples of how impossible and exhausting it may be when shopping for Christmas presents to get what you want. On the other hand, these days it can be easy.
