Hi. I'm a bit confused with the perfect tenses. Aside from has/have, can we also use is/are for present perfect tense? The same thing for the past perfect tense, can we also use was/were or is it just limited to had?
Like this sentence:
She is known for her generosity.
Is this grammatically correct? If so, this is in what tense?
And then for the past perfect tense, can we use it if we only have one event that happened in the past? Like this sentence:
Rodel had driven 120 miles per hour.
Is it grammatically correct?
Thank you so much.
