    The meaning of a proverb

    "Never seek to know what the camel thinks of the camel driver"
    Could you tell me what the meaning of this proverb is.

    ***NOT A TEACHER***What an interesting saying. I have never heard it before. I guess everyone has his/her own interpretation. To me, it means -- I guess -- that if you are the boss (camel driver), don't try to find out what the workers (the camels) think about you. Maybe you will not like the answers, and maybe you will then do something that can hurt both you and the workers. As we say in English: leave well enough alone. Or maybe another saying: curiosity killed the cat. Let's see what others think. Thank you.

    Perhaps it simply means: Don't talk to strange camels.
    It doesn't sound like an English proverb.
