    the State Pension age(s)

    Hi,

    Question:
    1) There are 2 numbers (60 and 65) in the sentence, why do we use "age , but not ages" ?

    2) When will we use state pension ages?

    Sentence:

Currently, the state pension age is 60 for women and 65 for men.

    Source of the sentence:
BBC NEWS | Business | Pension age 'could rise further'
    Line18

    Thanks

You could use "ages"; I would.
Currently the state pension ages are 60 for women and 65 for men.
