Thread: recopy

    I've noticed that the lecturers in the maths lectures available online tend to use the word "recopy" extensively, as in "I don't want to recopy the equation." (= "It's already there, no need to write it again."). Isn't that erroneous? Would a simple "copy" suffice? Or perhaps it's some kind of a jargon or in-joke?

    Perhaps the equation was copied more than once previously.
