a for apple, b for boy, etc.

    Hello!

Could you please tell me what you call the reminder words for letters? For example, my name is Amy. A is for apply, m for month, and y for year.

I heard about there are fix reminders for the letters in English. What are they?

    Thanks!

P.S. My name is not Amy.

    Hi,
    Does this help you?:
Phonetic alphabet tables - Alpha Bravo Charlie

I'm not sure if it applies to the "real world" as well.
    Example: A phone call.

    Cheers!
