    Function of relative clause

    Hello.
This might sound as a bit of a stupid question, but I was wondering if a relative clause can have a function (i.e. subject, object, adverbial etc.) in addition to it being restrictive or non-restrictive.
    Thanks.

    Re: Function of relative clause

Example: Here is the man who sells the tickets.

Here is the man who sells the tickets.
    Adverb Cop. verb. Subject

the man who sells the tickets
    det. noun modifier

    who sells the tickets
rel. pron. trans. verb direct object

Is it something like this what you are searching for?

Sorry, everything has mixed up. I wrote it much clearer. I don't know how to send it properly. I hope you get an idea of what I was trying to say.
