    Post What does this sentence mean?

    I want to know what the quoted sentence means actually."You got a rep(reputatiuon) to protect"
    Would anybody plz tell me the meaning of this..

    Hi,
    A person has a certain reputation, which can be something positive (like a reputation for honesty) or something negative (like a reputation for having a quick temper). If the person wants to continue to have people think of them in the same way in the future, then they have to "protect their reputation". It means that they are going to work to keep the same reputation that they currently have.
