    what is the mistake in the following sentence???

    the shop wasn't making enough money to cover its cost

    There's three. How many do you have to find?

    The substantial error is "cost". Shopkeepers usually rent their shops. The cost of the shop is not being referred to. It's the costs - rent, electricity, wages, etc.
