are there any other expressions for "work without respite"? I think this expression sounds a bit too formal for the style of text i'm writing, so is there maybe sth more informal?

I think the question might be expanded. Maybe, we need three answers for positive, negative and neutral senses.

I mean, the positive sense if one likes to work without a pause, the negative sense if one hates to have to work this way and the neutral sense for just working without a pause.

Work without a break is OK, but I think it really means work without being relieved (by another person)
