    Hello,

    could any one please let me know if the sentence mentioned below is correct

    1) He was rushing the call.

    2) He was rushing into the call.

    Which is correct and why?

    They're both correct, and they're both strange.
    Let's assume it's a telephone call.

    1) He was rushing the call.
    He wasn't giving enough time or attention to the call.

    2) He was rushing into the call.
    He was taking the call hastily, perhaps without proper preparation.

    In other contexts it might mean the same thing.
    If a referee "rushes [into] a call", he makes a decision too hastily.
