    Regarding "S" plural confusion

    Sentence: "Religious laws don't apply to non-religious people, artist(s), activist(s), painter(s), atheist(s) et al."

Doubt: Should the words: artist, activist, painter, atheist have "s" at their end(s?) ? or Are they plural with "s".

    Thanks

Yes, they are plural with "s".

The sentence refers to different people (which is plural) and then goes on to name some......artists,, activists etc.
