    About the word "outstanding"

    Hi all,

I just want to know if I can write this in a letter.
" Your XXX(documents) is outstanding, please submit the particular to us as soon as possible.
cos I thought outstanding means very good and it can be used in payment.

However , can it be used in missing documents?

    Thank you in advance.

    Re: About the word "outstanding"

Hi, and welcome to Using English.

Please see the second definition: Outstanding - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

There are a few other problems with your sentence.

Your XXX(documents) is outstanding. Please submit the particulars to us as soon as possible.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
