    Please tell me the different in meaning and using of " especial" and "special".

    Special is an adjective and it means unique or extraordinary.
    You are a very special person in today’s function.
    He took specialtrouble to complete the assignment.
    Especial is also an adjective but is rarely used.
    However, especially as an adverb is commonly used to mean "for a particular purpose
    These shoes were specially made for you.
    This food tasted especially good.
