Get your back up off the wall

"Get your back up off the wall
You know what you came here for"

What is the meaning of this phrase?

    Thank you!

Re: Get your back up off the wall

I don't know the context, but the first one that comes to mind is at the disco:

Get your back up off the wall and dance!

You could say that when a person stands by the wall leaning against it instead of dancing and picking boys/girls up.

PS: I am not a teacher!
