    Addressing two separate people on one letter

    I have to write a formal letter but address two different people with two different addresses on one letter. how should this be done?

    You send two letters.
    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
