    link vs. connect

    Is there a difference in meaning or in use between link and connect?

    No, they can mean the same thing. In certain circumstances one would be more appropriate than the other, however. Do you have one in mind?

    Thanks. No, not at the moment. I think I can use the two words correctly. A few days ago a student asked me the same question and I wasn't sure if I was right when I said that there was actually no difference. I also said that I would check..
