    Preposition problem

I have problems with the next sentence, I am not sure about the difference between the prepositions:

This drug is used IN hypertension treatment
This drug is used FOR hypertension treatment

There is no major difference and are they are pretty much interchangeable.
It is a little more natural to say:
This drug is used in/for the treatment of hypertension.
