    Question differences

    sir good evening,

    1)what is th different between what......for & why




    explain difference between these sentence

    1) i have knife to cut vegetable with.
    2) I have knife to cut vegetable .

    to cut vegetable with = to cut vegetable

    As far as I'm concerned, there is no difference. Both are used to give a reason

    What do you want to know for? = Why do you want to know?

    What for? = why?
