    sucked in

    The young lady said (she is pregnant):

    "At the weddin, I was all sucked in and I could never fit in the dress right now. Never."

    What's the meaning of "sucked in"? I don't know even if it is something good or bad.

    It means that she was holding her stomach in by contracting the muscles.
