    Technical sphere. Need a revision.

    Ive just translated one page of technical text and I would like to know if it correct or not. Can you help me guys.

    Treatment of petroleum, kerosene, diesel fuel, gas condensate, gases from sour, sulphidic, thiol sulphur at 20-30 оС to concentration below 1 ppm by using of a sorbent.

    The way of the liquid and gaseous petroleum products treatment from sulfur-containing compounds has been elaborated. Treatment is made by the sorption in dynamic mode.
    Dynamic capacity ofsorbent is 100 mg/ml.
    The technology includes the sorption in dynamic mode, recovery of sorbent properties.
    The technology is economical, it has high treatment efficiency, it prevents environmental because of catching and processing sorbed harmful components.
    The technology has been tested at KSTU in all mentioned above petroleum products.
    The method is especially effective on aftertreatment of petroleum products from hydrogen sulfide, mercaptan, disulfides to reach international standards requirements, for example, on production of polymere materials for food industry, aviation fuels.

    Analysis of sulphur was made:
    1) By GOST 17323-71 “Fuel for engines. Method of determination of mercaptan and hydrosulphuric sulphur by potentiometric titration” (used the A method – titrating by silver nitrate metallamine).
    2) Total sulfur determination by the burning method in a lamp (GOST 19121-73).
    3) Total sulfur determination by the X-ray fluorescence analysis.
    Examples:
    1. Petroleum treatment.
    А-76 petroleum treatment from sulfur by sorption in a dynamic mode (in initial petroleum a mass fraction of total sulphur of 0,028 %, sour brimstone of 1,9 10-3 %). Petroleum after treatment is uncolored. Concentration of sour brimstone after treatment less than 1 ррm.
    2. Diesel oil treatment.
    Diesel oil 2 treatment from sulfur by sorption in a dynamic mode with inorganic sorbents (in initial diesel oil a mass fraction of total sulphur of 0,37 %, sour brimstone of 3,6 10-3 %,). Concentration of sour brimstone after treatment less than 1 ррm(%).
    3. Kerosene treatment.
    Kerosene treatment by sorption in a dynamic mode with inorganic sorbents (in initial kerosene a mass fraction of total sulphur of 0,13 %, sour brimstone of 3,4 10-2 %). Concentration of sour brimstone after treatment less than 1 ррm(%).
    4. Hexane treatment.
    Hexane treatment from n-propyl hydrosulphide and hydrogen sulphide is made in a dynamic mode. Initial concentration of sour brimstone in a hexane, 29 ppm. The treatment is made to concentration low than 1 ppm(%).
    5. The main technological arguments of treatment process.
    Volume of oil products processing is 106 m3/year.
    Reduction of concentration of hydrogen sulphide and mercaptans from 500 ppm to 1 ppm.
    String diameter of 2.5 m. Section of a string 5.0 м2.
    String length of 4.0 m. Process temperature 15 – 40 C. Pressure in a string no more than 3 atm.

    I meant prevents enviromental
    pollution


    The method is especially effective on aftertreatment of petroleum products from hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan disulfides to reach international standards requirements.

    Main idea: This method is very effective on post-treatment of petroleum products.
