Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to share with me your appreciated opinion concerning the following sentences?

Edith is said to resemble me.

Mr. Bob Sawyer was heard to laugh heartily.

The rider was seen to disappear in the distance.

Tess's father was heard approaching at that moment.

He was thought to be honest and kindly.

Philip Bosinney was known to be a young man without fortune.

The manuscript is believed to have been written in the 15th century.

It is said that he I very capable.

It is known that he has come.

It is believed that they work well.

The mistakes are thought to be negligent.

Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol is said to be a suitable meium for reaction of this sort.

The addition of bromide to a mixture of benzene, aluminium chloride, and sulfur is said to give a good yield of phenyl sulfide.

It depends on the meaning intended, but if it was just a rider going out of ste, I would change The rider was seen to disappear in the distance. to The rider was seen disappearing in the distance.
