    Bumper Book

I just ordered this here The Bumper Book of Bunny Suicides (9780340923702): Andy Riley: Books

    for my girlfriend.

    What's a "bumper book"?

Going off terms like 'bumper edition' or 'bumper offer' I guess it means something like a 'special edition'. Would you agree?

On the other hand, however, there are also 'bumper crops' and 'bumper sales' which could also mean that the authors of this book think of it as 'the record selling book ever'.

    What do you think?

    Re: Bumper Book

It means that it is extra-large.
