    Live of

    Hello,
    Is it correct to say:
    "I live of him."
if you mean that you depend on him (his money)?

I heard that in "The Simpsons":
    Can you believe it?
Pretty soon I'll be able to quit my job and live of the boy.

(He said it because he was fascinated how well his son did something.)

    Cheers!

"To live off (two "f"s) someone" can indeed mean to depend on that person for money.
