I've never heard of it, I'm afraid, but I don't watch television.

I only don't know if 'Slower' is a right word to say in a sentence like this. But I like the 'mate'! ;)
May I make a suggestion? Say: "I like this sentence of yours." ("Slower" is just right. BTW, say: "I don't know if "slower" is the right word....")

    :)
    I don't understand why it's yours. Isn't it:
    something of you
    and not
    something of yours

    ??
It is your possession, it's of you or from you?
Is it maybe: this is from you, this is of yours ??
    Is that correct???? I don't understand... :(
The adjective form of you is your: your books, your shoes, your shirt, your skirt, your house. Your money is the money that belongs to you.

The possessive pronoun is yours. Something that belongs to you is yours.

    Does that help?

    :)

    Cordially,

    RonBee

    :)

    I'd add capital letters:

Very glad to meet you here. Your website is very pretty!

I'm a marketing assistant in Beijing.

I'm not sure if 'pretty' is the best adjective to describe Shane's website.

Just for giggles "slow as molasses" might do the trick.

German and English, some odds and ends.

    • As slow as molasses in January.

I speak Italian (it's my primary language) English (well,at least I try to... :) ) and French (not too fluently). I'd like to give Spanish a try since a good 60% of it is like italian..we'll see :?
