    build an amusement park

In the program Amusement Park Eats, the anouncer says:

"Would you wait for hours for fried chicken? Build an amusement park around a hotdog? tarvel across country for a barbecue?

What's the meaning of "build an amusement park around a hotdog"?? I don't know if he means it letterally?

    Thank you

Yes, the meaning is literal, but hyperbolic like the other examples.
