Are there any other formel adjectives? I'm writing an essay and I know that it is improper to use such adjectives.
Also 'acute need' and perhaps 'crying need' - although that word is more often used in the collocation 'it's a crying shame'. Note that ems2dr2 added a verb for you; I'm not sure whether you need reminding that 'We in need' isn't a sentence.
Also, "in dire need of...."
Yes, I forgot to point out that you need to say "We ARE in ............ need of..." and that you do not need "a" before "........ need"
