    Post plz help me

    plz tell me which one is correct, n what is the meaning for each one....

    1....date is not fixed.
    2.....date has not been fixed....(date has not been fixed yet)
    3.......date has not fixed......(date has not fixed yet).......

    sir it means that following sentence is not correct?..but why ?it also seems correct?......please tell me the difference between this n the other ones in my question

    The date is fixed by someone. The date cannot fix a date!

    So you cannot say: The date has not fixed.

    You say 'the date has not been fixed' (by somebody).

    not a teacher

    A date cannot do something.

    I have not fixed the problem yet. -> I can do something.
    The date has not fixed the problem yet. -> A date cannot fix a problem.
    (A date is a thing, and things can't do anything.)

    I have not fixed the date yet.
    The date has not been fixed yet.
    The date has not been fixed by me yet.

    Someone has to fix a date -> that's why you need been.
