    Dear teachers,

Would you be kind enough to share with me your appreciated opinion concerning the following sentences?

Shall he hot pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither?
wither = to fade; to lose freshness; to become sapless; to become sapless; to dry or shrivel up
The flowers withered in the cold.
    His hopes withered (away).
    Her beauty withered.
    Illness has withered him.
The hot summer withered the grass.
    Her affection withered.
She withered me with a look.

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V.

Sorry, vil, I thought we were only being invited to comment on the use of "wither". I'll read the sentences properly next time!
