    Can somebody help me correct these sentences?

    1) His giving in to their demand is a symbolic gesture that his position is weakening as the leader of the team.
    2) His compliance to their demand is a sign that his position as leader of the team has weakened.
    3) His backing down is an implicit that his position is weakening as a leader.
