    Hi. I'm not sure if you mean that you want to improve your use of the "active" and "passive" voice in your English grammar, or if you want to know if you should take an active or passive approach to learning English grammar.

    Firstly, you need to learn how to form the passive voice from the active, and vice versa.
    Then you must learn when it is appropriate to use each voice.

    The answer really depends on how much you understand now. Can you give us a hint about what you already know?
