    treat/cure/take treatments

    Dear teachers,

Would you share with me your opinion concening the following sentences?

The doctor says I must take treatments for my throat.

The doctor was treating her for heart trouble.

I had to take treatment for a month before I was cured.

It must not be confused to treat with to cure. To treat describes the process of curing. To be cured of an illness, we must be treated. An important traditional combination in this connection is to take treatments.

    Thank you for your efforts.

    Regards,

    V.
