Hello!

I know that go + gerund usually describes recreational activities. Here is a good list. For this reason, I consider the following sentences correct. What do you think?

Do you want to go seeing a movie on Thursday evening?
Let's go seeing Spiderman this Thursday.

I think that's no problem
Because it doesn't belong to continuous tense.
so,you can use verb "see" + ing.

ex. not knowing

You can only use 'go verbing' when there is no object following the verb. (as in your list)
