    Can you say 'go to a scan'?
    No, you say, 'go for a scan' or 'do a scan'.
    Therefore, the sentence should be written as:

    Her doctor ordered a scan which he did not go for.
    Her doctor ordered a scan which he did not do.

    not a teacher

    Yes, it's correct.
    I think you mean:
    Her doctor ordered a scan which he [her doctor] didn't attend.
