The first is fine. With the second, I would say that "to address" usually suggests a larger group/audience than just one man.

The Pope addressed the crowd in the square.
I addressed the assembled group to explain the plan for the day.

The expression ‘worth addressing’ works well when it relates to ‘problem’ that needs solution, as:
Please go about posing a problem that is worth addressing.
